How it works.

From an empty list to a quarter you can ship in three steps.

Step 1

Why a four-view tool sits next to your design files.

Most PM tools live in a separate tab. The work they track lives in another five tabs. Hugogen Projects sits in the same workspace as the docs, designs, and video the work is producing.

Four views, one data source

List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt. Same tasks, every view. Drag to reschedule on Calendar, drag between columns on Board, drag bars on Gantt. Inline edits in List.

Per-project custom statuses

Define your own statuses with colors, per project. Drag to reorder. Board columns update automatically. Group and sort by status across every view.

Priority, dates, multi-assignee

Five priority levels. Start and due dates. Multiple assignees per task from your workspace. Group and sort by any of them.

Sprints with a dedicated planning page

Group tasks into a fixed-duration cycle. The planning page puts the backlog and the active sprint side by side so you can drag work into and out of the sprint. List view defaults to grouping by sprint so in-sprint work sits above the backlog.

Explicit relation taxonomy

Four typed relations between tasks: blocks, relates to, duplicates, clones. The Gantt view draws arrows for blocks relations so you can see what is waiting on what at a glance.

Activity timeline on every task

Each task has a stable URL and a full activity timeline. Status changes, priority changes, reassignments, date changes, and comments are all recorded so anyone joining late can catch up without re-asking.

Same workspace as docs, designs, and video

A task that tracks the next launch sits alongside the deck, the social posts, and the launch reel in the same project. One workspace, not five tabs.

What people track with it.

Four setups and what each one looks like once the workspace is up. The view-switching is the part that pays off in week two.

Founder

Setup

Track 3 launches across product, marketing, and customer support over the next quarter.

Five lists in one workspace, one per client, plus a Billing list. Calendar view to balance deadlines across all clients in one place. Drag a bar on Calendar to reschedule when something slips.

Marketing lead

Quarterly campaign plan

Setup

Q4 push across launch, partnerships, and events. Need to see overlap.

What you get

Gantt view showing each workstream as its own row, with bars overlapping where the team is doubled up. List view grouped by week for the daily checklist. Board view for status review every Monday.

Content lead

Editorial calendar

Setup

Plan a quarter of content across IG, TikTok, and the blog. Each channel has its own cadence.

What you get

List grouped by channel. Calendar view for the publishing dates. Drag a task to reschedule when something gets pushed. The launch deck and the social posts sit alongside the task in the same project.

Hugogen Projects vs the alternatives.

Linear, ClickUp, Asana, and Trello cover the PM basics well. Hugogen Projects matches them on tasks, comments, subtasks, an explicit relation taxonomy, sprints with a dedicated planning page, and deep-linkable task URLs. It goes further by sitting in the same workspace as the docs, designs, and video the task is tracking. One project, every artifact.

What teams running on it say.

A marketing lead, a solo founder, and a freelance ops manager. Same review.

Dulu Notion buat doc + Asana buat task. Sekarang dua-duanya jadi satu Hugogen project. Gantt view buat lihat overlap quarterly campaign, Calendar buat ngeliat tanggal rilis. Hemat 2 subscription per bulan.

Linear was overkill for a 4-person team and Trello was too simple. Hugogen has all four views and sits next to the actual launch deck. Cancelled both subscriptions in the same week.

Lima klien aktif, lima list dalam satu workspace. Calendar view kelihatan jelas deadline mana yang overlap. Drag satu task, semua orang lain gak terganggu. Tools sebelumnya selalu ribet pas multi-client.
