Each clip arrives with captions timed to every spoken word, in one of six styles such as Karaoke, Bold Pop or Minimal. The spoken language is detected automatically, and each caption can be edited afterwards.

Questions and answers

It reads the transcript of a long video, picks the strongest moments and cuts each into a short clip. Every clip is reframed for the chosen shape, captioned word by word and opened as an editable project.

Videos from 1 to 60 minutes and up to 2 GB can be clipped, uploaded from a computer or added from a YouTube or direct video link.

Choose from 1 to 20 clips per video, each 15, 30 or 60 seconds long. Ten clips of 30 seconds each is the starting setting.

The spoken language is detected automatically, and captions are timed to each word. There is no language picker, and captions are not translated.

Each clip opens on the video timeline as a normal project. Change its layout or captions, trim it, join it with other clips, then export.

AI clipping is included on the free plan, and the clipping screen shows the cost before a job starts. A job refunds itself if it fails, and exported clips carry no Hugogen watermark.

Pasting a YouTube, social or direct video link loads the video into the clipper, as long as the video is 1 to 60 minutes long. Clipping a video requires owning it or having the rights to use it.
